The variety of hotel rooms in the hotel industry is as large as the variety of hotels themselves. It is based on the number of beds found in the room that the shape and size of the rooms vary.So if you want to book a hotel room for yourself, you have to first understand the classification of hotel rooms.

Single rooms in hotels are obviously meant for single occupancy. The hotel has a private bathroom if the word en-suite follows the room name.Hotel rooms once ran on common bathrooms for all the rooms. But today, rarely do you find a hotel room that does not have its own bathroom.Hotel rooms thus seldom use en-suite in describing their rooms.

Double rooms are rooms meant for two people; it may have two single beds or a queen sized bed.Triple rooms are meant for three people and have single or double beds in them.

The size of the bed does not determine the name of the room; it is basically based on the number of guests expected to stay in the room that gives it its name. Then there are the suite rooms.

The specialty of these suite rooms is that they have more than one room; like a living room and the bedroom.Sometimes, there may also be a small kitchen area included in it too.Luxury suites are similar to these suite rooms; the only thing is that they are bigger than normal suites and have additional features. The luxury suites of different hotels may be different, as different hotels offer different features in the rooms.

Sometimes hotels refer to suite rooms as apartment and family rooms, where the family room usually has two bedrooms.Newly wedded couples should spend their honeymoon in the honeymoon suite of hotels, for a memorable holiday. You will get the right hotel rooms in the right hotels only if you be specific while asking quotes for booking your hotel room.

I was to visit London on the invite of my supplier I have been with for some years for some business transaction. I have already visited Holland and also france to complete similar deals. I was dying to visit London to compare what I have read in books and hear of it to what I would be seeing in reality. I made my hotel reservation to stay in one of the hotels in Russell square for one week and also another reservation to stay in London Victoria for another week as I wanted to visit all the Landmarks I have heard of in these areas.

I got to Tavistock hotel by Taxi from the airport after going through all formalities at the airport. The journey to the hotel took more than an hour. The central london area of Russell square has a lot of good hotel.

I just happen to like the area even on the first day. Just after two hours in the hotel, I picked up my street map and decided to begin my London tour. The City was exactly as i expected it to be. All that I have read about the Capital was very true. In Bloomsbury there is the British Library and the British Museum. I toured both places on the first day. I then wen to the Covent garden to see what the area has to offer. There were a lot of street performers at the Covent Garden.

For the rest of the week at Tavistock hotel London, I visited the West end area. I paid a visit to Oxford Circus and the Marble Arch areas within that first week. The Theatreland or the Leicester Square has a lot of theatres so it is no wonder the areas has been named so. I also went to the Piccadilly Circus which was a very busy area. I paid a visit to the shopping streets in the West End area on my 5th day and was surprised to see that the place was so dense with shoppers and other tourists. It was so surprising to see that the three famous shopping Streets in london were all filled with people. Each of the shopping streets was busy but the Oxford Street was much more dense. As the Soho and China Town were nearby, I grabbed the opportunity to vist the place and it was very exciting.

I went to stay in Victoria area in my second week as booked through Cheap London hotels agency. This is where I have been itching to be because it is most of the landmarks in this area that I have read about. I was in Buckingham Palace the very day i arrived at Victoria to witness the changing of the guard. I wanted to see the Tower clock also called the Big Ben for I have read a lot about it in books. You see the Houses of Paliament from the location of the Big Ben as they are at the same location. I also took a trip to the Westminster Abbey at the Parliament Square. On my last sightseeing trip in Victoria, I visited the famous London Eye. It is marvellously constructed and very beautiful. I was very impressed with the architeture and will always praise whoever designed it. I enjoyed my stay in Central London and I would like to stay in the cheap hotels in Russell square as they have good accommodation standard but lower rates.
