There are many places that you can go as a family there is no doubt about that but which ones are the best out there?

Orlando, Florida

There are so many things to do here that it is hard not to see why it is at the top of the list, from visiting theme parks to swimming with sea creatures like bottle nosed dolphins. I have been here with the family on so many occasions and although I am nearly 19 now I have to say I have never gotten bored of Disney World and I do not believe that I ever will! If you are really not into your theme parks then make sure you do not choose this destination. This location should be the top of your list of things to do before you die.

New York City, New York

So many people tend to assume that the city can offer nothing to families, they are very mistaken. The city has so many things to do from various Zoo’s to locations that you can visit as an entire family, times square for instance can be enjoyed as a family. A nice picnic in the middle of Central Park is also a great option to take as a family.

St Lucia

This is an absolute paradise for families with older kids and the spring time is the perfect time of the year to go because there are not any tropical storms at this time of the year. Anyone who is a fan of hiking or cycling would simply love this area as there are miles of trails to explore. The beaches are both great for relaxing and for windsurfing on too so you will not go wrong by going to this location. Hotels include the brilliant St Lucian by Rex resorts and the rendezvous hotel St Lucia. Now is the perfect time to take one of those perfect St Lucia holidays.

There are simple fairs, like pumpkin festivals and sheep and wool festivals to all out  Oktoberfest fairs that bring out the beer drinker in all of us. Each fall festival celebrates and honors something unique. Each one is held on different grounds and each brings something new to the honorable traditions that have kept these festivals alive and well for generations.

Of course, there is plenty of crystal clear fall fishing to take up a weekend or a two week  tour of these small states. Outdoor sports are part of a ling heritage within the New England  borders, and those that get to participate in them do so respectfully and in awe of the  natural wonders that still allow then to carry on the pride of their ancestors.

Be prepared to spend some time getting to know Mother Nature. Camping in New England offers the outdoor lover a treat from the scenery to the adventures. There is something magical about the crystal clear lakes and rivers you can fish for freshwater rainbow trout (or your choice of fish) and bring it back to the campfire for a whole new experience in fresh fish. Anyone who loves to experience the outdoor lifestyle should never pass up the chance to go camping in New England during those early fall months.

Be prepared to deal with some unexpected weather. While New England is absolutely gorgeous in the fall months it is also relatively easy to find yourself experiencing a quick and harsh change in the weather.

New England autumns can bring drastic changes from one day to the next. It is possible to experience a twenty degree drop in temperature in just an hour as a fast moving front paves the way. Keeping in touch with the weather report and being prepared for the possibility of overnight frost is just one more way to be prepared when camping in New England. Always heed all weather warnings and make sure that you are able to receive regular weather updates to make sure that you aren’t about to find yourself smack dab in the middle of the changing weather unprepared.
