Have you been debating where to go for Christmas this year? Two of the holidays that have really done well this year are really standing out among the rest of them. Most people believe that Skiing holidays are the most popular over Christmas; however this isn’t quite as popular as you think it will be. Skiing doesn’t just happen at Christmas time, people can go skiing at almost any time of the year. Skiing can now even take place mid summer, some places in the world have the ability to keep the snow on the ground.

Remember that we are talking about luxury Christmas holidays as well. Skiing holidays generally are very luxurious, but when you compare them to these they are very different. What’s strange for Christmas time is that these two holidays are in the Caribbean, one of the hottest locations in the world.

St Lucia holidays are on the rise this Christmas, and so much so that flights have almost been completely consumed already. In fact you need to search for luxury holidays to find a spare seat. There are some great offers available to everyone searching for the right packages. The weather in St Lucia is going to be very warm this December as well, with only a small amount of rain.

Barbados holidays provide anyone visiting this Christmas with a vibrant and exciting Christmas holiday. This is a holiday for those that want to have an up-beat and exciting Christmas. One that will last through all hours of the night and for those that like to party all night long. The Barbadians are great at keeping any tourist entertained and the way that they achieve this is by taking you out to all kinds of parties and clubs. The culture in Barbados is very striking, and Christmas is very much a celebrated time of year. You can even find a holiday in Barbados, a full package deal for less than a thousand pounds.

Travel insurance is one of those extra expenses that we must all indulge in if we want to look after ourselves properly. So why do some people just leave travel insurance? Travel insurance is sometimes greatly overlooked, and this can have monumental consequences.

It can be a very expensive venture if you go on holiday and get injured or robbed without travel insurance. The problem is that, with many young people, including me at one point is that with our youth comes the feeling of invulnerability. This feeling of invulnerability blurs young people’s sight, and the thought of anything going wrong is usually overshadowed by excitement.

Let’s take a moment to think of ourselves on a holiday without travel insurance. You go for an adventure walk or a climb up a mountain, and slip down, injuring yourself quite badly. Trying to cover the fees that you could incur at hospital yourself, would be a monumental task. To make it clear, the minimum travel insurance cover offers around 2,000,000 dollars (1,222,000 GBP).

Holidays are meant to be fun, but to have certain amounts of fun; you have to accept that with fun, comes some risk. The holidays on the rise around this time of year, are Christmas holidays, which probably means skiing holidays. I can’t even begin to explain how dangerous Skiing can actually be, just be sure to grab some much needed travel insurance, and get a qualified trainer. Although this has been a bit doom and gloom, it is to say that Travel insurance, no matter how much it costs (average = £15), so when you think about it, £15 is a lot less than 2 million.

Offers are arising with St Lucia holidays and Barbados holidays this Christmas, and some packages also include travel insurance.

In the Caribbean is some of the worlds most amazing wildlife and scenery. Three of these islands have become some of the most popular holiday destinations in the world, and are now some of the most sought after holidays during the summer.

Tobago has always been a fantastical cricket destination. Everyone who knows about cricket knows how mad these people are about it. This may be a very small island, but it does its very best to look after it’s tourists. You can visit one of the world oldest rain forests and even join in on some cricket games, but only if the locals let you. Scuba diving is a must do on this island, with such a diverse amount of marine, ranging from the worlds largest coral brain, to Giant Manta Rays. Tobago holidays are exciting and fun.

Quickly becoming the place to go is Grenada. Slightly larger than Tobago, this island is a big typical tourists holiday, plenty of things to see and visit, you can take many, many pictures. In Grenada the original and old cultures of the people have been preserved very well. Make sure that you watch a Flamenco performer, they are generally very good singers and fantastic dancers. If you want to go on a little adventure, you can take a trip through Las Alpujarnas where you can walk through some Andalusian Landscape. Grenada holidays are all about enjoying the surrounding culture.

St Lucia holidays are a fast growing holiday hot-spot. The overall beauty of this place is known world wide. White beaches, blue skies and clear seas, if this is what you want in a holiday, then this place has it. St Lucia brings a whole new meaning to beautiful scenery. This is for the people that just want to sit by the beach and relax, have a drink and go for a swim.
