It has come to that time of the year, the time where people need to start booking holidays for the Christmas period. If you are in the travel industry, you more than likely would have seen a loss in profits this year. The holiday’s district has not done very well throughout this year, mainly due to the recession, but also due to incorrect weather forecasts, indicating a warm summer in Britain.

Now however, tour operators are saying that Christmas will receive a massive influx of holidays because of the lack of holidays during the summer season. The Christmas period does receive a lot of attention for holidays any way. This means that there could be an increase in tourism sales this year, and could help bring some tour operators back into the profit margins they so desire.

So will the Christmas holidays start to flood in? Well the tour operators have been anticipating this so much that deals and offers are flying around everywhere. People seem to be awaiting the Christmas period to launch off on a lovely Caribbean holiday.

St Lucia and Barbados seem to be some of the most popular holiday destinations around the world. If your looking for holidays, it appears that these holidays are most popular at Christmas. I find it strange that people would like to go to warm countries on a Christmas holiday. When I was younger and even now, the joy of a snowy Christmas always gave me such fun and excitement. Christmas in England has always been described as a best when it is snowy or “white”.

Do People really care about the weather anymore? Snow seems to be one of the climates that we don’t seem to be bothered with. The sun and clear blue seas are what compel us to embark on Caribbean holidays. And maybe there is nothing wrong with this, maybe Christmas is just becoming another one of those days in the year!

Get ready to start booking those holidays, Christmas is here, and its being fired at us like an arrow. Stats have shown this year that many tour operators have made a loss this year.

In order to get all the customers that they want, the tour operators are throwing out as many deals as they can. People seem to be awaiting the Christmas period to launch off on a lovely Caribbean holiday.

The Caribbean does get a lot of tourist attention, but St Lucia and Barbados are among the most popular places to holiday in the world. Christmas time seems to be the time when they are even more popular than normal. I find it strange that people would like to go to warm countries on a Christmas holiday. When I was younger and even now, the joy of a snowy Christmas always gave me such fun and excitement. When i think about Christmas time, my ideal one would be a white Christmas.

So does the weather have that much impact on our decisions anymore? Nowadays we don’t seem to be that concerned with snow at Christmas time now. The sun and clear blue seas are what compel us to embark on Caribbean holidays. And maybe there is nothing wrong with this, maybe Christmas is just becoming another one of those days in the year!

Here is a list of the most annoying and idiotic airlines over the past 8 months, and some of the things they have done to annoy us:

Ryanair have proved once again how annoying they can be, by raising there prices to ridiculous amounts. Although they may be a cheap airline, they do have a flaw now. Saying that, they have now announced that there will be an increase in checking in your luggage. Since when did luggage start to charge extra for being checked in? We have weight restrictions already, so why if they weigh the same amount as normal, do we now all of a sudden have to pay extra? If my suitcase says to me that it wants to fly 1st class then that may be a reason for me to fork out some more cash. Can you believe, that they also said this would help to reduce costs overall, I will believe it when i see it.

It won’t be long before Virgin dominate the world as the worlds largest airline. You may think it sounds funny, but soon Virgin will control the universe. But before they do, they also have some rather annoying tendencies. Such as banning people with swine flu in South Africa from flying with them. Well seeing as Swine Flu has already reached every far corner of the world, will this actually help. What will preventing those that have swine Flu from entering countries where there is already Swine Flu actually have any affect upon? But i don’t want to moan about them too much, give it 30 years and they will own the world.

Easy Jet have done a pretty good job of making themselves look silly this year. Can you imagine telling one of your customers that they are too “fat”, well Easy Jet gave it a whirl. If you don’t believe me then have a look for the story. After being told she was fat, they them offered her the chance to buy another ticket to accommodate her girth. I might also add that she only weighed 15 stone. Maybe they just lost it for a little bit?

Well if you’re thinking about Caribbean holidays try Maldives holidays instead and fly with someone you know you can trust, if you can find that airline.  Let’s see who can screw up the Christmas holidays the most this year?
