The battle of the titans has ensued with the two top holidays going at it. By quite a long way, holidays to Egypt and the Caribbean are the most sought after and by far the most popular. It may not be fair to compare a whole region to one country, but they are probably not that different in size.
Cuba holidays have really taken off in the last 10 years, boosting the overall tourism industry in the Caribbean to massive amounts. However thanks to destinations like St Lucia, Barbados, Grenada and Cuba the Caribbean has a massive amount of visitors every day. Although they may look the same, each of these islands feel completely different. There is much diversity in the Caribbean, the islands are all completely different. If you go to St Lucia or have ever been, you will know that it is becoming a spa holiday island, just somewhere for you to get pampered.
So does this really give the Caribbean an unfair advantage when holiday bookings come into it? Well look at it this way, every month around 130,000 people search for Egypt holidays just in the UK. That’s a phenomenal number, and although it is less than all of the Caribbean island searches, the number of searches for Egypt outweighs that of any other single country, at the moment.
But why egypt? Well when you consider it, Egypt has a lot more to offer than many other countries around the world. With such a diverse and extensive history dating back over 7000 years and most documented, this makes Egypt very unique. It’s not just Egypt’s history that’s fascinating, activity wise Egypt offers some great diving locations, Spa holidays and archaeological dig sites. Everywhere you go there is something interesting to see. Egypt has a great climate as well, although for some this maybe too hot.
So there you have it, two of the holiday destination kings.

When you compare these two countries they are very different but also very similar. Although these countries are very different, but they both hold something unique to each other in history terms. Cuba holds history still in time. This is a great area to see the Ancient world. So which of these places can offer the best holiday?
Cuba holidays have slowly come into the tourism light. They haven’t been sought after much before the year 2000, mainly because they were considered dangerous. Cuba is set in its own past, old cars and bars still exist and are doing very well, the modernisation of Cuba has come to a bit of a slow stop. Although they have a powerful military control, the streets of Cuba are lined with very old and traditional houses; the roads are pebble stone or concrete. They are also the producers of the most expensive cigars in the world, all hand rolled. If you really want to, you could visit Cuba and roll a cigar yourself. Cuba offers some truly great diving locations, covered in coral and very clear blue seas.
Egypt holidays have always been popular with many people. Well the cost of these holidays has fallen too. Egypt certainly isn’t short of history especially when it comes to the first civilization in the world. There are so many amazing wonders to see in this country that you will never have enough time to see them all. The must is the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx; these are some of the most amazing sights anyone will ever be able to see. They are some of the oldest structures in the world and are of massive proportion. Cairo is a great place to be for all the hustle and bustle of all the people and markets, many people visit this place just for the crazy trading atmosphere. Egypt is home to the oldest civilization known to man, and a library that contains some of the oldest scripts in the world. This is where scholars come to learn even more about the world.
So there you go now you have two very exciting places to consider for your next holiday, I would recommend either one of them, but for weddings abroad it has to be Cuba.

One place in this world that you must visit before it’s too late is Cuba. This is by far one of the most unique and beautiful countries in the world. Many consider this large island in the Caribbean a Wonder of the world, frozen in time.
Cuba is stuck in the late 60’s, early 70’s. You can even see the old fashioned cars still in complete service. Tourism is becoming a big money spinner in this country. Cuba holidays offer many people all kinds of activities and new experiences. The bars and restaurants are unique and very friendly, and the flamenco dancing is original and good fun. Cuba is a country just stuck back in the place, so visit to see the world of yesterday. This is the location for many diverse cultures and some truly brilliant people. The bars and restaurants offer holiday makers a look into the past as well.
Now for the holiday maker who likes a bit of sea sun and sand, well you have come to the right place. In Cuba you will be guaranteed to find yourself plenty of this. There are some white sandy beaches, most owned by the local hotels. Just make sure that you book a stay in one of the hotels that is by the beach and they will give you free access to the private beach. Yo wont be disappointed at the condition of the rooms, the best way to describe them is; luxurious. They do their best to make your stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. I think a lot of people get the impression that Cuba is a volatile place; the simple truth is that because we don’t have much press coverage in over here, we are drawn into thinking of it in certain ways.
If you are considering a holiday this year then give Cuba a go, the only other holidays I would recommend are Egypt holidays, this is because they still maintain a very powerful and interesting history.
