Camping at Disney World might sound like just another way Disney is trying to make money off its guests. After all, the Fort Wilderness Resort doesn’t offer a fully authentic camping experience. All campsites include electricity and water, and for an extra fee you can even get high-speed Internet access. Buildings are air-conditioned and you can easily access Disney World itself.

Despite these detractions from the pure camping experience, Disney Fort Wilderness Resort is well worth the money they charge for you to camp there. The campsite is set upon some truly beautiful land: a forest full of pine trees, water canals, and hiking trails that look like the real thing. There are even deer, rabbits, and ducks wandering around the campgrounds.

There are hook-ups for tents and RV’s, and log-cabin style buildings dot the premises.  Camping at Disney World has several advantages. First of all, it is completely safe. You won’t encounter bears or other wild animals in the middle of the night, nor will you run into strangers living in the woods for nefarious purposes. So the kids will get the camping experience they desire while you have peace of mind. It also has modern conveniences, so you will not have to find places to use the bathroom or use tree leaves as toilet paper.

Finally, the outdoor atmosphere at Disney is beautiful. The campsites are situated in a forest full of pine and cypress trees and there are log cabins or other rustic-looking buildings on site. Best of all, camping at Disney World is not expensive; you can rent your campsite for as little as $43 per night plus tax.  Of course, take warning to avoid shock: Florida will soak you on the taxes.

Camping activities include hiking, exploring, fishing, and swimming, but if you tire of these, there is still plenty to do. Fort Wilderness offers horse and wagon rides and archery ranges in addition to traditional camping activities, and every evening a Disney movie is screened on the campsite.

As a Disney World Resort guest, you are also entitled to complimentary transportation to and from all Disney Theme Park locations. In addition to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center, you and your children could visit the Animal Kingdom or any of the Disney World Water Parks.  You can also visit two golf courses and other Disney World Resort Hotels.

If you have a dog, you can bring him or her to selected areas of the campsite. Your dog will enjoy walking through the campgrounds and will have an air-conditioned place to sleep. Cats are presumably also welcome on the campsite, although most cats are not leash trained so this may not be a good idea.

In short, if you are looking for a camping experience to complement your vacation, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort may be the place for you and your family. You can experience camping with modern conveniences, explore Disney World, and find plenty to do on your vacation.  There are private bathroom and shower facilities on site, as well as laundry facilities. Some campsites are being renovated this year; check with Disney for availability.

There is a war on in Las Vegas, although it’s not the type with Guns, OK, well sometimes it is. But enough of that, Las Vegas, is best known for the more of its saucy activities like gambling. However, is this all Las Vegas is about, or is there a more gentle side to this wild town?

Las Vegas may be known for all of its gambling establishments, but it is slowly becoming world renowned for the relaxing spa hotels that it offers too. The Bellagio, probably the most famous and most luxurious of all the Casinos, contains some of the most luxurious Spa treatment centres in the world. Caesars Palace is another one of the biggest casino/hotels in Las Vegas. This is a themed Casino, with Romans everywhere. Even the Casino has a relaxed yet energetic feel about it. The staff are very calming, and look after customers as best they can.

The problem with these hotels is that they entice you into gambling, especially when there is a massive casino right beneath your feet. So where can you go in Vegas to enjoy a nice Spa holiday without being drawn into the Gambling world? Is there actually a Spa hotel without a Casino.
