Orlando is the sunny USA city in the state of Florida. This place is known worldwide for all of its most amazing tourist attractions and awe inspiring resorts.
Walt Disney was responsible for creating some of the best known cartoon characters in the world; he was also responsible for the construction of the biggest holiday resort in the world. Disney World as said is the largest of all the tourist resorts, and is also the most visited in the entire world receiving about 17 million visitors just to the Magic Kingdom resort. This place has something for everyone, with more than just one theme park, a total of four in fact, and more than 20 hotels each with its own theme. Orlando holidays have soared because of Disney World.
Next up is the Universal Orlando resort. This is the second largest resort in the whole of the Orlando area, second to Disney world. All of your favoritie films will be on offer for you to have a look at. You are definitely going to have a great time when you visit Universal Studios. In 1999 the Resort had two large hotels built when it became apparent that more revenue could be made for people that wanted to stay for a weekend or even a week. Thanks to this Theme park, the employment rate is high in this area, they employ a huge amount of staff and attract lots of tourism.
Last but by no means is least, the Sea World Orlando. If you have been to a sea life resort before they will pale in comparison to this one. Each year this amazing marine wonder-world, takes in over six million tourists each and every year. Although it seems this resort is all about the sea life, it is actually more of a them park, containing roller coasters and scary rides. Shamu is the most famous Killer Whale in the world, he performs many tricks and stunts in an arena surrounded by many people and have become the much loved Mascot of the Sea World.
Many people go on America holidays to see these amazing places, it is clear that Orlando is very famous for all these amazing attractions. In Nevada Las Vegas holidays bring a very different format to the holiday destination.

Although the Disney Theme park is the most famous of all the attractions in Florida, there are other opportunities that present themselves to any tourist. Although this is a popular holiday destination, people should consider some of the other not quite so world wide advertised resorts. Consider these American holidays as well:
Some of these resorts are huge and are amazing places to visit. Gatorland is a fun adventure park in Orlando and has a 110 acre park. This is an amazing location, and although it is obvious what is here, there are some amazing things to see. You will learn that there are more than one thousand alligators at this park. The Gator land park is the opposite to Sea World, it is thought to be the other route to take if your not too keen on watching fish. They offer some fantastic events for people to come and watch, including; Alligator wrestling and feeding, always good fun to see, and adds suspense to the atmosphere.
There is the Kennedy Space Centre. If you are looking for somewhere to fill your head with knowledge and experience some awe inspiring sites, you must visit the Kennedy Space Centre. It is quite something to see a rocket actually sitting on the launch platform, and the HQ looks very impressive to. All of the Apollo rockets were famously launched from this Space Centre, some of them ending quite badly. If you go on the bus tour, which is highly recommended, you will see crocodiles all over the place, this is because they cannot be removed from their natural environment. If you do go, you should visit the Space Mirror Memorial.
The Silver Springs are another inspiring location. They are one of the largest artesian springs in the world and contain some amazing wildlife. It is possible to go on one of the Glass bottomed boat tours so that you can visit the wildlife under the water and see how clear everything is. Much like all of the other resorts in Florida this one too has a small theme park as well. These three locations are Great Orlando Holidays destinations.
Holidays like Las Vegas holidays have over shadowed these kinds of holidays and that shouldn’t really be the case when you have places like these to visit.

Egypt is set in the north east of Africa. These holidays are designed for people to come and relax, enjoy the sights and if you want maybe embark on a small adventure.
One of Egypt’s most prominent features is obviously its pyramids. When its construction was finished the Great Pyramid was at 146 metres tall, that’s like a 50 story building. They did a very good job, buildings like this were built for supreme beings and they have lasted as well. The Great Pyramid of Giza was built around 2561 BC, that’s about 4500 years ago. The Pyramids and the Sphinx are clear representations of Egypt’s wondrous history. The Sight of the Nile or the Sphinx is enough persuasion to get anyone to go to Egypt.
The holiday resorts in Egypt are gorgeous as well. The Pyramids are of massive proportion and it isn’t until you are next to them that your realise the struggle they must have gone through to build these tombs. An amazing and somewhat beautiful site, the Pyramids have influenced the luxury of the resorts in Egypt. Head off to Alexandria and experience Egypt’s life in the City, you can stay in some amazing hotels. Egypt has held some of the Ancient wonders of the World. In Egypt or more precisely Alexandria, there was One of these Seven Wonders of the World. The Lighthouse of Alexandria was constructed over 2000 years ago and was estimated to be about 135 metres tall; unfortunately it was badly damaged in an earthquake and was destroyed.
Still in all of these places like Alexandria is the evidence of a powerful and unique ancient civilization that used to roam the world many years ago. Egypt holidays aren’t all just about the site seeing though. Diving has become a big tourist pull in Egypt, it has allowed them to turn over much more money in the tourism industry due to the beautiful diving sites in the Red Sea.
