It was time for me to leave dreary England and head over to America, more precisely to Las Vegas. Just working all the time really wasn’t doing it for me, i needed to get out there and do something. I wanted a holiday where I could spend a long time away but have some great fun. Somebody mentioned to me that Las Vegas was the place to be for an exciting holiday.
So that was it I was on my way for Las Vegas Holidays. I landed in McCarran Airport, and was picked up in a car and taken to the Bellagio Hotel. What a great place. This was by far one of the best hotels i had ever seen. Walking into the Bellagio is like walking into a palace. For the price, the room i received was truly beautiful.
As i had decided to come to Vegas, i decided that i had to try my hand at some gambling. I therefore headed to the tables for some fun with the blackjack game. Although i had a really good time, i didn’t win much. I then decided to visit Vegas, I went to several of the casinos to see what they were like, including; the Luxor, the Mirage and the Circus Circus.
After I had done my visiting of the sites, my vacation was coming to and end. I had seen all that i wanted to see on holiday, i therefore decided to go back into the gaming room, and try the new slot machines. I had begun to spend a little too much, somewhere in the region of 140 dollars, then all of a sudden, there was a flashing light and a siren, i was all of a sudden surrounded by people. At first I didn’t know what had happened, until I noticed the Giant “Jackpot” flashing sign. I won’t say how much I won, but it was a fair amount. Without a doubt, this was a great holiday.
I have also recommended to my two sons to have Las Vegas weddings, should be good fun for all of them.

Gambling has always been a massive business, even in ancient times, people would take risks by betting on a fight or a race. Now the Gambling business is turning over almost 100 billion pounds every year. That would mean in semantic terms, that every person in the world would have gambled about 15 pounds every year.
The majority of this is thanks to the internet. Gambling online has become one of the biggest money spinners in the world. The ability to sit in the comfort of your own home and enjoy a casino style gambling table at the touch of your finger tips is great fun and easily accessible. But can this actually be a problem, surely this means that we are halting all the business that goes to Vegas? One thing that we aren’t that sure of is, will people stop going to Vegas and just stay at home to gamble online?
Vegas holidays have always been popular; the gambling scene is massive with a whole range of 5 star hotels to stay in at very low costs. The flights are very expensive, but once you get there you wont regret it. When you gamble at a table you feel important and you can actually see what is happening, it is real. Gambling on the internet has always struck me as awkward. What i find hard, is that you can’t tell whats going on behind the scenes? Although gambling is unpredictable, I believe that on internet sites, if you go through a losing streak you may be tempted to think the site is cheating you making you a little paranoid.
So Las Vegas holidays are although expensive, very fun, they provide you with hands on experience and a great holiday, not to mention possible Vegas weddings, plus you can’t get married over the internet…….. Yet!
Other areas that have benefitted from gambling are Florida holidays, Orlando being quite a popular place.

Orlando is the sunny USA city in the state of Florida. This place is known worldwide for all of its most amazing tourist attractions and awe inspiring resorts.
Walt Disney was responsible for creating some of the best known cartoon characters in the world; he was also responsible for the construction of the biggest holiday resort in the world. Disney World as said is the largest of all the tourist resorts, and is also the most visited in the entire world receiving about 17 million visitors just to the Magic Kingdom resort. This place has something for everyone, with more than just one theme park, a total of four in fact, and more than 20 hotels each with its own theme. Orlando holidays have soared because of Disney World.
Next up is the Universal Orlando resort. This is the second largest resort in the whole of the Orlando area, second to Disney world. All of your favoritie films will be on offer for you to have a look at. You are definitely going to have a great time when you visit Universal Studios. In 1999 the Resort had two large hotels built when it became apparent that more revenue could be made for people that wanted to stay for a weekend or even a week. Thanks to this Theme park, the employment rate is high in this area, they employ a huge amount of staff and attract lots of tourism.
Last but by no means is least, the Sea World Orlando. If you have been to a sea life resort before they will pale in comparison to this one. Each year this amazing marine wonder-world, takes in over six million tourists each and every year. Although it seems this resort is all about the sea life, it is actually more of a them park, containing roller coasters and scary rides. Shamu is the most famous Killer Whale in the world, he performs many tricks and stunts in an arena surrounded by many people and have become the much loved Mascot of the Sea World.
Many people go on America holidays to see these amazing places, it is clear that Orlando is very famous for all these amazing attractions. In Nevada Las Vegas holidays bring a very different format to the holiday destination.
