Exciting and adventurous holidays are what its all about in Africa, so if thats what you want then head on down asap. With everything that Africa has to give people won’t be let down when they go on a holiday there. Here are some of the most amazing places in Africa for you to think about.
Let us kick off with Zanzibar holidays. This is the furthest east of the holidays we are going to look at. This Island has also gone by the name Spice Island. Although this island does still produce a large amount of the spices for around the world, many years ago it produced 80 percent of it. This Islands history helps explain how some of the slave trade happened, and there are places to go Scuba diving as well.
Next up is the wonderful Tanzania holidays on Safari. This holiday is actually in the biggest national park in Africa, called the Serengeti. if you are a heavy adventurer you can go and find some of the biggest creatures on the planet and get as close as you ever could in the wild, This will be both fascinating and amazing.
Last but not least is the Fantastic holiday in Marrakech. This place is not the most glamorous in the world, and is infested with pollution, but it will completely enchant anyone that visits it. This is the place to make your adventure film imagination come to life. Without a doubt the most exuberant market in the world is in the Djeema el Fna square in Marrakesh. Up in the north west of Africa, Marrakech the market place has story tellers, water sellers, acrobats, dancers and musicians, to keep you always entertained.
So why not try one of the fabulous but very different holidays to have an absolutely amazing time, another great safari zone to note as well is the Masai Mara, so if the Serengeti isn’t for you then try Kenya holidays instead.

For many people, Zambia is a little out of the radar scan for a holiday overseas. This is the destination of dreamland, if you want a different and unique holiday then this is for you. Now that kenya is halving the cost of it’s Visa’s to £25 for an adult, these holidays will be well worth a visit.
Zambia is undisputedly most famous for the Victoria Falls. The Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and you won’t be surprised when you see it. This majestic waterfall is known to the local people as Mosi-Oa-Tunya, which means “Smoke That Thunders”. A truly stunning sight is when the water is flowing into the gorge below, and then flying back up out of the gorge like a volcano exploding. Zambia holidays have become more and more popular thanks to these waterfalls.
The sheer amazing sight of these falls is not the only reason to visit them. If you arrive in the September or December months, the water levels will be low enough for you to take a swim. When the waters reach a low level and are only just skimming the top of the cliff edge before they go into the gorge, a safe natural swimming pool appears. The Natural pool over looks the gorge that the waterfall plummets into and is called the Devils Armchair.
There is also a Victoria Falls National Park. A safari experience is on offer at this national park, all year round visitors are more than welcome to come and explore the area. The Park spans about 23 kilometres squared but does have many different kinds of wildlife. This National Park/Safari even has the option for you to walk it, with help from a guide. The fact is that instead of being stuck in a jeep, you can scour the vegetation and get stuck in with the wilderness. Kenya holidays and Tanzania holidays have become a lot more popular recently as well, this is due to the fantastic Safari’s that they offer.
So if you want to go and see some of the most amazing sights in the world, you should consider going to Africa and make your next holiday something different.

Whats impressive about going on safari to Kenya is that in the Masai Mara the “Big Five” all exist in the same park. The name Big Five was originally coined by hunters because these animals were supposed to be the hardest game to hunt and find.
The proud pride owner the Lion. This powerful animal is only the second of the big four cats, before the tiger. Lions in general are keystone predators which means they hunt and take down their own food, rather than scavenge, although if the opportunity arises they will take it. The lion has been known to become a man-eater and have been reported in some cases to actually stalk Humans as prey.
The ever majestic African Elephant. These massive beasts weigh an impressive average of about 5 and half tonnes and can reach over 3 metres tall. An elephant has 4 molars for teeth and they are each 12 inches long, and weigh about five kilograms. One of the amazing things about the elephant is that the tusks can grow up to 2 and a half metres long.
Then there is the Cape buffalo. This animal is one of the preys of lions that are actually pretty good at defending themselves; they have even been known to kill lions as well. The Cape buffalo is regarded as one of the most dangerous animals in Mara; it is a very short temper and is reported to have killed about 200 people every year.
The Black Rhinoceros. This well armoured and large beast has in a way been wrongly named, this was because the White Rhino has been wrongly named as well. The Black and the White Rhino are practically indistinguishable by colour. White in the White Rhino’s name was actually a mistranslation of “Weit” in Dutch. The literal meaning of this word actually means Wide, this was because the White Rhino had a square like structure to it’s lip, but the Black Rhino had a pointed lip.
Finally the Leopard. This is the smallest of the Big Cats, but is by no means the slowest. The Leopard is not really noticed for the fact that it can reach a massive 36 mph on the ground, and that it can jump up to 3 metres vertically into the air. Also the Leopard is the best Big Cat swimmer and by far the best tree climber.
So if you would like to go and see the Big Five then why not try Kenya holidays, Tanzania holidays or Zambia holidays. You will find them around these key locations.
