It is common knowledge.  We are in a recession.All you read and hear in the news is about how bad the economy is.You are hearing that spending is less and less for more people.  All of this is true.

But for a business owner, there is a lot of money floating around, you just have to be able to get it.One of the different ways you can accomplish that is by looking at alternative advertising sources.

With the economy tightening and people holding onto their money, you want any edge.  I know of a good way through my own truck advertising San Diego business.  I would like to share some of my knowledge first hand to help you.

As I had previously stated, there is still a lot of money out there.You really just have to make an effort to go after it.  Well how do you do that?You find them in several different ways.  One of those ways is mobile billboard advertising.

As I mentioned I run a San Diego mobile billboards company and from my experience clients get more exposure. Their advertisements are viewed by more people because of the way the advertisement is delivered.

If you don’t know what mobile billboards are, they are just billboards on wheels.They can be specifically made trucks that are to act as billboards.Or they could even be a fleet truck or van that has it’s sides as the billboards.

Why is this way of advertising so effective.Well the alternate ways to advertise like TV or radio can be turned off pretty easily by the customer.  But a mobile billboard is able to be right there in front of the consumer.  It is right there with them in traffic.  It can’t be turned off.And just the way it is designed, if it is a bold and catchy ad, it is going to be read.

So if there is a need to reach more customers, this form of advertising should be considered by the business.It is a method that works and if the purpose is to brand your business, I don’t think there is anything better.

Comparitively the mobile billboards rates are reasonable. Considering the fact that it will be seen by thousand daily it is an investment well worth the money.

Trying this out will help any company, especially in this trying economic times.

There is a huge shift of advertising dollars going to another place for businesses large and small.  I am not talking about advertising on the internet.  What I am talking about is doing outdoor media advertising and more specifically truck advertising.

Outdoor media advertising comes in many forms but one of the forms that is gaining much popularity is using truckside advertising.

Today a prospect has a lot of choices on whether or not they want to see an advertisement. With Tivo and Satellite being owned by most consumers, they can easily have all traditional advertising turned off.

That is why many businesses have been searching for alternative ways to advertise.  They want more ways to reach consumers.

But not only are they begging for other ways to reach the customer, they want it to work.

Mobile billboard advertising has that advantage. It offers a way for an advertiser to have their message shown without the possibility of being turned off. With the way the message gets to the consumer it is plain to see why.

You have the advertisers message or brand boldly displayed on a truckside or on a mobile billboards. Those are vehicles that have been designed for that job of being a mobile billboard.

With their message boldly displayed, and appearing to them in traffic.  A consumer can’t help but read it. For a business that wants the ability to create brand recognition, this is a way they should consider.

Then when you put it side by side to other forms of media advertising.  The mobile billboards prices are actually very competitive, if not cheaper for what you get.

Because when you think about it, your advertisment will be noticed by the consumer because of they way it is delivered.  More than likely during rush hour or when they are stuck in traffic.  So the consumer has nothing to do but read it. With that in it’s favor their add can easily be shown.

When you understand how much is being spent on outdoor media, you realize a lot of businesses are taking advantage of its potential.In 2004 by itself, $5.8 billion dollars was spent.

So for a business in search of creative ways to get their ads out, using advertising trucks is something they should think about. 

Not the traditional, stationary mobile billboards people are used to. But something put right in the consumer’s face is most definitely going to get the message across.
